Generation Network
The Generation Network aims to identify, plan and deliver the skills needs required to support the ongoing Power Sector difficulties caused by the future unknown energy mix.
It is planned that to deliver this, the next 12 months will be spent on two specific areas:

We will be working with all major asset owners and major operations and maintenance contractors on the fuel mix scenarios and how these effect the current needed skills mix.

It is expected that a high number of small Biomass plants will be built and there will be an increase in the number of people requiring Biomass awareness training, we are therefore working with the industry to define an awareness qualification for all people working with Biomass.
