The National Skills Academy for Power will sit at the heart of the Power Sector, driving excellence in skills. By bringing together Education & Skills Providers, and employers and stakeholders, we will develop a UK-wide network of approved Education & Skills Providers that are able to deliver across the range of skills levels and disciplines required by the sector.
We will begin by improving the way the current system operates, and will then drive collaboration between demand and supply, and develop and introduce innovative solutions which are most effectively achieved through collaboration, rather than by individual company initiatives.
Currently over 40 Education & Skills Providers are collaborating with the National Skills Academy for Power, putting forward their views and ideas and contributing to future plans. These organisations will be recognised as the National Skills Academy for Power's 'Centres of Excellence' in relation to provision for the sector.
